Jesus was a mystic. When I say that Jesus was a mystic, then I have to explain: What is a mystic? The dictionary gives us a good definition, saying that a mystic is a person who seeks to attain unity with or absorption into the deity or the Absolute by contemplation and self-surrender. Or, one who believes in the spiritual knowing of truths that are beyond the intellect. You might qualify, you think?
